Today we look at how we can receive the ball with our back to goal under pressure from a defender and look to turn, to face our opponent up and turn it into a positive situation where you're in control.

'First Touch'
Today we looked at how we can open our body up using our hips to receive the ball to either face up our opponent straight away if they’re not touch tight or to protect the ball and shift to create an opportunity to turn and face them up if they press us tightly.
We spoke about how Phil Foden receives the ball so effectively and this was executed brilliantly by Sam ⚡️
'Repetition Creates Habits'
Today we look at how we can slow down a defender when we're facing them up, using little touches before using a little bit of skill or drop of the shoulder to burst away and and beat them.
We started off unopposed before moving on to a 1 vs 1 situation as demonstrated by Sam and Seth.
